Puppy Wishes

My husband and I do not have any kids yet so our puppy dog is our baby.  My father-in-law likes to tease us because we love him so much.  So, for his Birthday we decided it would be funny to make a card with a dog that looks like our fur baby!  I used the Four Legged Friends cart and I think it turned out pretty cute and looks a lot like our cute pup!

What do you think?

Girls Camp Continued

I saw this really cute idea on a cricut blog I came across and I feel so bad because I cannot find the blog again and I do not remember who it was.  So just know that this is not my original idea and I would like to give credit where credit is due.  I did make it my own by adding different things but they are super cool.

I made these super cute lanterns out of regular glass jars.  I used my cricut to cut contact paper and then I stuck the contact paper to the glass and sprayed the glass with frost spray paint.  Once dried I removed the contact paper and it left the cute shapes.  The quote says, "Share the LIGHT of testimony.  A candle loses nothing by sharing its light with another candle." And I added a cute little bracelet lei to add to the beach theme.

I used battery operated tea candles for the effect and this is what it looks like with the lights off.  Pretty cool huh?  I think they are going to be a huge hit!

More Girls Camp

The theme is center around being a missionary.  Each ward received a mission call and we were called to serve the Samoa Mission.  So, I thought it would be fun for the girls to put together their own paper doll and stick them in a little beach pale and have that as a center piece.  So, they all created their own sister missionary but I do not get a picture of the finished product because I am not going to be able to be there.  My job sadly gets in the way.  I hope they like it and have fun!

Girls Camp

I was asked to be on the girls camp planning team in my ward.  I was in charge of decorations and was super excited to put my new cricut to work.  Here is the poster I came up with.
